I definately want to visit the Amalfi coast as well as naples but don’t really know much else about the other cities / towns. I will be travelling by train – will this limit me? I’m just looking for some good places to visit and an estimation of how many days i should spend in each place? Any help would be useful :)

I will choose the Adriatic side is far better than Amalfi coast for sure less expensive with stunning views. Go to Apulia from Gargano to Santa Maria di Leuca and Stop close to Otranto and Lecce and along the Ionian side as well, close to Gallipoli…you will understand what I meaning…you could visit as well Alberobello and Castellana Grotte (between Bari and Brindisi) you won’t regret for sure and all these places are easily reached by train, lots of trains go in those directions. I think you could need at least 10 days to enjoy the most of all but if you got more days to spend you could also visit Castel del Monte (close to Andria) and the cathedral of Trani
Adriatic side:

xChristian shut up that hole you are telling lie and you know it very well!…the Adriatic coast is not only Rimini and is much much clearer and CLEANEST of your piece in front of the gulf of Naples with those tiny dark beaches!…I would not ever put myself in that toxic water ever! So shut up adriatic sea is something wonderful you are an envious liar….
